Open Violations/Permit List

Hey BP,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on ways to find an open violations/permit list in your town.  Trying to find one for my town (Brookhaven, NY) but not having any luck.  I know there has to be a way but I've been searching for a while and I've only reached dead ends.  If anyone could provide some type of info on how they are able to obtain such a list in their specific town maybe that will help me find the list in my town as well.
