Selling land to Walmart?

Posted

I own a small patch of land directly behind a Walmart in a very small town. It’s so close I can hear employees talking out back. The only thing that separates the properties is a fence. This Walmart has recently been doing some remodeling and I’ve been wondering if they(Walmart) would be interested in purchasing the land I own? I mean they could use it for storage. They could expand their store into a “super center” or build a tire/lube department. Does anyone know anything about it or how I would go about finding out? Everything I’ve read referred to hundreds or thousands of acres and suggests hiring a firm to handle it but I feel like that’s too much. Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated! TIA
