Selling Fire Damaged House

John Retka
Posted

Anyone in MN have experience selling a fire damaged house?  I have a rental that had a fire, and we are looking at our options to sell as is and take the insurance money and run!  The settlement payout is significant - if we could get a reasonable price for the damaged house, it would be a better solution...thoughts?

I flip fire-damaged properties and own a restoration company which specializes in fire damage. Selling as-is can be a good way to go if the numbers are right. Do you understand ACV and RCV? How much is the depreciation? How bad is the damage? Let me know if there is a way I can support you.
