Good afternoon,

Seeking first hand reviews of these banks if possible. would like to avoid wasting time with bad banks. I just wasted 6 hours with Capital City Bank In Florida, they simply messed up and don't care. Most lenders will tell you anything to start the loan process even though they  cannot make underwriting.

Touchmark National Bank
Newtek Bank
Midwest National Bank
Harvest Commercial Real Estate Finance
Celtic Bank
FMS Bank
Coastal States Bank
Ready Capital
Bank of Edison
Northeast Bank

35 year lender and former bank exec here. I know a few of them and the ones I do know are SBA banks. They are not set up for real estate investors. Federal Regulators hate real estate investors and they don't like bankers doing those types of loans. They also only like to lend to current depositors. I want to help answer your question, but I have a few questions for you: What exactly are you asking the banks for? What type of loan? What collateral? How much cash are you injecting into the deal? How much are you asking for? Do you have any relationship with the bank with respect to deposit accounts? How much experience do you have as a real estate investor? Do you have another vocation/business that would entice them to give you money if they think they can earn that business? What specific reason did they give you for the decline? I really need to understand more before I can provide you with solid advice.
