I am a new real estate investor looking to dive into the industry. I am looking for real estate connections as well as real estate agents who are very into buying multiple investment properties with little to no money down. Would like to build out my portfolio quickly while renting out the properties and holding them. Please let me know of any advice, people or real estate meets that would benefit me. Thank you very much and I look forward to connecting with you all!

Congrats on taking your first steps, Xavier! If you willing to move/be uncomfortable for a little while, most would recommend a house hack as a first investment. If not, the conventional wisdom for scaling quickly is to BRRRR (buy, rehab, rent refinance, repeat). The Rookie Real Estate podcast may be good for you to listen to if you haven't already started. Good luck on your endeavors!

Thank you for the insight Jevon! I am actually in the market now looking to house hack. Do you have any recommendations on finding listings other than the normal realty websites (Zillow, Redfin, etc.) What are the most important things you look for when using the BRRRR method?

Hi Xavier Perera! Welcome to Bigger Pockets. The world is your oyster and if you can think of something then you can do it as Napoleon Hill mentioned in his book "Think & Grow Rich". That is the concept that I lived and still live by.

I would first recommend finding your core 4 and reading as many bigger pocket books as you can. I personally read "BRRRRR" by David Greene and "Multi-Family Millionaire" Vol 1 & 2 by Brandon Turner. Those 2 concepts will really help you grasp how to get started in real estate and SCALE SCALE SCALE!

If you are house-hacking, I would choose a B+ location or better because you will not get too many opportunities to house-hack. You can use an FHA loan conventional 5% down loan (Find one without a PMI) that has great loan terms.
