Looking for Real Estate‑Focused CPA (Rental Properties + W2)

Hi Everyone,

I am a beginner residential rental investor in St Louis Missouri with a couple of properties. I am looking for a good local accountant to help with my business and personal tax strategy and filing. Do you have a good one in St Louis or St Charles County, MO that you recommend?

Thank you and greatly appreciated!

Hey Kwan! Finding a CPA who specializes in real estate investors versus a generalist makes a really big difference, especially when you're juggling rental properties and W-2 income together, and you've come to the right place.

One thing worth knowing is that a lot of great real estate-focused CPAs work virtually and serve clients nationwide, so you don't have to limit yourself to someone physically in St. Louis or St. Charles County. What matters more than location is finding someone who understands depreciation, passive loss rules, how your rental activity interacts with your W-2, and who is doing proactive planning throughout the year rather than just filing a return after the fact. There are already some great CPAs responding in threads like this one. I'd reach out to a few, interview them, and find the one that feels like the best fit for your goals. Happy to connect!
