Comparison is the thief of joy.
Although it does not seem motivational, it keeps me in check. It makes me realize that I need to be grateful for everything I have. I can always find a reason to feel like I need more.
I can have a 100k month, then have dinner with a friend that does 20 million per year in another business( obviously not flipping real estate, LOL) and feel like a complete looser.
Then I can have a day where I really don't make anything and see one of my tenants that lives on a fixed income in one of my ghetto homes and feel like a rock star.
The moral of this quote is I try to remember it daily. It helps me not to live on comparison and to just be grateful for anything I accomplish and what I have.

Brandon Foken I have used that one in many aspects of life! Most recently my 15yr old son was nervous to ask a girl out, he feared she would say no. I told him that by not asking her, thats exactly what she was saying. So he could ask her and things would be the same OR she could say yes! Cant get a yes if you dont ask. Needless to say, he is a teenager and I was probably ruining his life by giving him this advice! Hahaha! I dont think he ever asked her. Still a great quote!
