Conventional Loan Question

Justin Elkomy
Posted

Newbie here. With a 740+ credit score, how much of a down payment can I expect through a congenital loan?

For example, if I wanted to put a down payment on a $200k condo, do I HAVE to put down 20% each time? Thanks for the help!

@justin elkomy

Depends on a lot of factors, but if you're looking for an owner occupied property and you're a first time homebuyer, you can get as much as 100% combined loan to value if you qualify.
