Stessa Receipt Tracking

I currently own/manage a dozen doors. For the last couple years I feel that I have been overly diligent in uploading invoices, receipts, etc. I go as far as logging into the utility provider, downloading the monthly bill and attaching it to the transaction in Stessa for each and every charge.  I am wondering if it is a waste of my time and I should wait to deal with that if I get audited. Does anyone else do this?
