I  am looking for a CPA with Real Estate experience. I would prefer someone in the Houston, TX area yet I am not sure location is really very important. Appreciate any recommendations.

@Craig Longcor

Here are 3 options for finding a CPA located in or near Houston, TX

1) I went ahead and did a bigger pockets search for "CPA" and "Houston" and found the following posts.
Feel free to reply to the post or message the people how they like their CPA.

2) Create a keyword alert for "houston" and "texas". You will be notified of when posts contain these two words. More often than not - you will notice frequent posters responding to these posts with these keywords. Network with these individuals and ask who they use for a CPA.

3) Attend local REIA events through meetup.com or the bigger pockets events section. Network with the investors who attend and ask who they use for a CPA.

If you still are not able to find a CPA that you are compatible with - you may want to open up your search and look for a CPA who works with clients virtually. Many CPA's are on Biggerpockets who do just so.

In the meantime - did you have any tax specific question? I'd be more than willing to give my opinion on the matter.
