Looking for builders/GC

Hi everyone,

I’m an investor currently planning a short-term rental cabin build in Virginia (Blue Ridge / Shenandoah area) and I’m looking to connect with experienced general contractors who have built or managed similar projects.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who has experience with:

• New construction cabins / A-frame or modern mountain homes
• STR / Airbnb-style builds (high-end finishes, guest experience focus)
• Rural builds (septic, well, utilities, sloped land, etc.)
• Managing subs and timelines in more remote areas

We’re targeting a designer-style cabin build (~600–1,000 sqft) with premium STR features like hot tub setup, fire pit area, outdoor living, etc., so experience with hospitality-focused builds is a big plus.

I’m early in the process and currently:

• Evaluating land / finalizing a build location in Virginia
• Comparing build approaches and budgets
• Looking to connect with the right GC or design-build team before moving forward
