LVP in bath?

What do you think? I prefer one floor throughout, like that LVP is less expensive than tile but current contractor recommending tile due to water concerns. I have one rental with LVP in bathroom but it’s only a year old. The rest of my experience is with tile or the old time sheet goods in bathrooms.
