Should I Leave Wall Mounts in Rental?

Hello!

I am moving out of town and will be renting out my current home. The home is 2 years and in a B+ neighborhood.

In the living room, I mounted my 50" tv on a very nice full motion wall mount. In one bedroom, I used a standard mount for a smaller TV (both were professionally installed). I was about to take them down when I realized the new tenant will likely just end up mounting their own TV.

For that reason, would it be a good idea to leave one or both of these installed?

Thanks for the replies. I'll go ahead and leave them up for now. If the tenant has an issue, then I'll have them removed!

I would leave them up as well if you have no use for them. If you will need them for your own TV it is your call. They may or may not cause damage and may end up being removed by the tenants. Once you are finished renting you will likely have extensive renovation work to do to get ready to sell so I would not be too concerned about any damage the brackets may cause.

I would leave them up for now with the option to remove them if the tenant that actually rents the place doesn't want them up. I think it's a nice feature for tenants in nicer areas to have that already installed for them when they get there. Just make sure you take the mounting hardware off your TV's before you move away (I've forgotten that before) or the mount is pretty much useless as they all seem to have their own unique parts.
