Property manager issues

I switched to a new property manager last year and I’m finding it very hard to get him to respond to my questions.  Being out of state for part of the year has been very difficult.  There aren’t many options for management companies in that area and what can i do to facilitate a better response time from him? I’m running out of options and I don’t want to manage them myself.

Ask another landlord in the area who they use and if they like them? Ask a larger landlord if they would consider managing yours? If emails take more than a business day to respond your property manager isn’t in the property managing business anyway.
