Hello Fellow Bigger Pockets Members,

It's time for another South Sound Edition of the PacificNW Real Estate Meetup, where we bring online interactions into the real world. Let's get together to meet fellow BP members, build some relationships and have some great food and drinks.

Like last time, please head over to http://www.meetup.com/PacificNWRealEstate/ and register, seating is limited. The venue also want's a head count to determine whether they need extra staff on hand to serve us.

    @Tim Holmes @Kevin C. I was really looking forward to this meeting as we're about to put our first purchase up for rent (four months later than we wanted, one week later than critical).  Unfortunately, it seems my husband must attend the grand opening of a project he worked on and we don't have a sitter, so I'll miss the meeting.  Please DO keep me informed of any meetup (I'll go change my availability on the Meetup page) as I would really like to get to know others in the area!  Again, thank you for putting this together and making sure people knew about it!

    You guys, this was awesome!  What a great night!  I can't believe they let us take over the restaurant like that!  That'll teach them!  Great to catch up with some old faces, young faces, and new faces last night!

    First time attending a BP meetup - It was great meeting everybody last night!

    What I have been working on:

    • Residential fix and flips in the Seattle area
    • Commercial properties in Seattle
    • 100 unit mixed-use development in Seattle (preliminary stages)

    What I want to learn more about:

    • EB-5 funding
    • Building new construction homes / townhomes
    • Everything else :)

    What I am looking for:

    • EB-5 partners/investors who are interested in working together on a 100-unit mixed use project in Seattle
    • GCs/Subcontractors/handypeople looking for projects in the Seattle area
    • Investors interested in deals under $100k in the Seattle area
    • Investment minded brokers to work together in my real estate brokerage team

    Hey South Sound BP!

    Just checking in. It was really great connecting with like minded people and seeing that this is really happening in my back yard. I'm looking forward to catching up with you all again. It indeed was a great event!

    In the mean time...I've been putting my head down trying to learn some of the basics of this biz. Getting my business entity put together and working through a couple of books right now. Gary Keller's - Millionaire Investor and BPs own Ultimate Beginners Guide.

    If any of you have any other suggestions on learning this biz, please adivse... I will put in line. Better yet...if any of you pros have any mentoring time, I'm raising my hand. 

    On the flip side, Time is plentiful resource for me. So if I can help any of you, drop me a line. I live out here in Port Orchard and working the Kitsap Market.
