Hello Everyone,

I have seen several posts inquiring about a meetup in San Diego and have not yet been able to find one myself. So, I thought I would put out a feeler to see how many people would be interested in starting a new meetup group for all of us in San Diego.

Even if it starts as just a few of us going to a local coffee shop to chat, exchange ideas, ask questions, etc; it would be great to have a place to get together and talk San Diego Real Estate.

If you would be interested in attending, please leave a comment below and tag anyone else you know on BP that may be interested.

Hello,

I organize a very small meet-up in Encinitas. The focus is "Buy and Hold" and the only requirement for attendance is that you currently have a rental property. We have a few guys just getting started and some doing large apartment deals out of state. I don't have speakers. It's really an opportunity to go around the table and talk about whatever the heck you want to hopefully related to real estate. That's it, and most of our turn outs are about 4-10 people. If anyone is interested and meets the one requirement above, feel free to send me a message.

Definitely interested! First week of January is tight, but I'll do my best to make it work when time/date are set.

Hey Joseph. My pleasure, but I definitely can't take all the credit for the planning. Couldn't have made it happen without @Tim G.
As for the details, I'm sure we will be covering a lot of what your interested in knowing during the meetup. But, if it isn't, make sure not to hesitate to ask questions while your there!

You can set up your keyword alerts to notify you whenever your keywords are mentioned. Go to MENU-->ALERTS-->MANAGE ALERTS and enter "San Diego Meetup" or whatever keywords you're interested in.

This sounds like something I would be interested in. As a new investor, meeting people active in the industry and seeing something first had could be quite beneficial.

Absolutely. There's no perfect substitute for getting out there and Doug it yourself, but immersing yourself in a deal and speaking with the investor firsthand is pretty darn close. Let me know if you have any questions!
