Interior designer recommendations in Denver CO?

Question

I just purchased a small SFH in northern Denver (an ideal location for young adults). I am seeking help from an interior designer, ideally with STR design experience, in the Denver metro area to help me furnish the place! Please leave names and numbers as I am eager to find help on furnishing this house asap!

Congrats on your STR! I’m an interior designer and newbie investor. I saw the potential of STR in the early days of air bnb when I was staging properties for an investor near Disneyland. I’m in California however most design work can be done virtually. It’s pretty normal in our industry. For the active installation and final staging phase- the physical labor of it all- it can take a weekend to a week depending on the size of the STR. Alot of clients DIY this to save $$$ or because they just like to decorate. :)

Hi Kyra!

I am an investor myself and I am working on building an interior design business geared towards investors. I have two units on Airbnb that I designed and decorated myself and through that process I realized how much I loved design and how it kept me sane in all the chaos of investing for the first time. My main model is design consulting in which I come and see the space, understand what you are looking for and the send you sketches along with a vision board. I have multiple packages in which I can provide the basic draft all the way to selection of furniture and other design elements.

I am interested in remote consulting with potentially a design board so that I just source all the furniture and decor.

You have an excellent point on trying to design the space on my own. I fall within my targeted market, so I should be able to figure out what the people want (as I am the people lol).

I have ideas on the space but I wanted someone with experience to validate my plan. Maybe I should just go for it.

So there are a number of virtual designers out there that can do a remote design consult. You might want to look at that. Saves a ton of money and people I have spoken with have been pretty happy.

There is one investor on here that uses a designer in Asia. They say she really knocks it out of the park and is cheap.

Have you even though of doing it yourself? You might be surprised at what you can do. We did our place and we get constant positive comments on how homey and comfortable it is.

We weren't going for anything high fashion or anything like that as we cater to families and groups of folks riding the bike trails.

Hey @Kyra Flores, did you check to make sure you can STR the house? Denver has a lot of restrictions in place in the city itself.

One of the primary rules is it has to be your primary residence in the city and county.
