Quotes: How Many is Too Many??

People think I go overboard getting quotes for whatever I need done. Most people stop at 3. For my roof I went to around 10. Pool resurfacing, 6. New flooring, I’m up to 4 and feel like I need several more. What do you think? Am I overboard? 😀

Danae, getting multiple quotes is helpful for understanding pricing, scope and quality differences but getting 10 for one project may be excessive. Try not to get stuck in analysis paralysis. Once you see consistent pricing and find a contractor you trust, move forward.
