What are you doing for TP?

I've got 6 guys moving in to a 2 bedroom house tomorrow. I'm in the process of cleaning and restocking it. There is no TP for sale in this town. So I bought a 4 pack of Kleenex and am leaving it in the bathroom. How do you cope with the TP crisis?

Given that all my cabins are on septic, Kleenex is risky, so I was one of those obnoxious people doing a run last week. At least at the Target I was at there was still single-ply on the shelves. LOL

Luckily I had just hit up Sam's Club and bought 2 bulk backs of TP just Ibecause I was low at the STR and home.
Don't understand the rush on TP.
I noticed the beer isle had slim pickens in the grocery store. I get that one.

Looks like the Internet caught on to your recommendation Karl, Boxed.com now sold out on TP as well.
Cannot wait for the TP hawkers to start selling rolls on the streets like the ones selling generic water bottles at summer concerts for $3/bottle.

@Cliff H. Haha. We are now leaving much less in our STRs to ensure we can make it through the rentals we have. Also hoping it prevents people taking all that is leftover

Many years ago I resorted to that method while climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. I didn't pack enough tp in my backpack.

I came to this thread thinking it was going to be a joke. I thought that the TP shortage was largely over hyped. I guess we're just lucky here in San Antonio. There has been some at every grocery store I've visited. Sure it's a little less than usual, but no place I've visited has been out of it yet. Some of the stores are limiting the number you can purchase though. I guess I need to get some to list on eBay.
So I just checked, and lot's of people are already selling on eBay, so that's still an option. Some of them aren't gouging too terribly yet.

@Paul Sandhu Get a bidet. Problem solved. I cant help but laugh at the TP shortage. I even have a Costco sized bag of some as backup.

Yea, I told my wife to be a bit stingy on the TP for our STRs. Funny thing is if anyone has ever been to SE Asia all you get is a porcelain hole in the ground and bucket of water. Hmmmm? last time I looked there's a shower right next to every toilet I own...just sayn.

Look at a restaurant/hotel supply store. That’s where we buy ours. Of course you would have to have one nearby. Could check online too.

Lol people are ridiculous with the tp thing. I think the next demand will be for plumbers when all these idiots start tossing paper towels, baby wipes, and other non-dissolving tissues down the commode.

1. Yes, that's what I was implying. I'm not pulling my pants up with a wet butt.
2. "Unsophisticated" was my third choice. I rejected first "ignorant" then "uneducated". And, by the way, never having used a bidet does not make one unclean.
3. Not planning on getting one. I've just been curious, and this seemed like a good opportunity to ask. :-D

If they work as poorly as the hand dryers in public restrooms, you'd have to sit there a looooong time to get dry!
