New real estate investor - Indianapolis IN

Hello all,

First time poster. Finally getting on track to begin purchasing real estate and start this new journey. I have signed up with a mentor to keep me on track. I'm focusing on the Indianapolis IN market.

My buy box is properties in these areas below, single family homes, 2-3 bedrooms and 1-2 bathrooms, approx $200K. My current goal is to do some cosmetic flips, and hold on to some for rentals.
1. Fountain Square - Marion County, 2. Bates–Hendricks, 3. Irvington, 4. Near Eastside, 5. Broad Ripple

Look forward to connecting with other investors, open to collaborating on future investments.

I'm in Indianapolis!! I can tell you have started research -- all great neighborhoods. Some of those areas may be a little more than cosmetic flips at that price point. I would love to hop on a call and discuss and possibly give you some ideas for other neighborhoods. I will PM you.

Great buy box for starting out! And I like the strategy to do some flips to build capital and then focus on holding afterwards.

Your target areas are solid choices—Fountain Square and Bates-Hendricks have strong flip potential with growing demand, while Irvington and Broad Ripple offer good rental appeal. Welcome to Indy investing! You’ve picked some great areas—Fountain Square and Bates-Hendricks are hot for flips with strong appreciation, while Irvington and Broad Ripple offer solid rental demand. Greetings members,
This is my first post.
I am starting my journey into real estate.
My focus is on BRRRR strategy with properties ranging $100-150k and possibly some loan syndication investing opportunities to kick start my journey.
Thereafter, I plan to do some Fix n Flips.
