New Member to Bigger Pockets Exploring 1031 Exchange

Hi Everyone,

I am new to BiggerPockets and I am here mainly to learn, grown and engage with other real estate investors.  I am no longer a W-2 earner and I am a mom with two young kids looking to build something of my own.  My hope is to successfully complete a 1031 exchange this year (property is located in MD) and starting building a steady portfolio of rental properties over the next 10 years, but first start using initial equity proceeds from the 1031 exchange.

 My prior real estate experience has only been traditional 10 or 30-year mortgage and I hope to learn more about other suitable loan products available to us.
