Seeking Mentorship in Atlanta

Posted

Hi, I'm Courtney I have posted here a few months ago, but wasn't sure if I was ready to proceed. I have done some wholesaling a few years ago so I am knowledgeable with Real Estate. I am looking for an experienced investor here in Atlanta that wouldn't mind me learning alongside of them doing flips/ buy and holds. Please let me know if anyone is interested. My goals are to do a few flips and then buy and hold multifamily units.

You already have a strong base if you’ve done wholesaling before, flips and buy-and-holds are really just deeper execution with more capital involved. In Atlanta, mentorship opportunities usually come from either JV-style partnerships or working directly with active operators on deals, so you can see the full process end to end. One thing I’d also suggest is staying open to out-of-state exposure, because a lot of newer investors end up comparing what they’re seeing locally with Midwest markets, where flips and small multifamily can sometimes offer cleaner numbers and more repeatable deal flow. The key is getting around active dealmakers, not just theory, so you can build reps quickly and learn how real projects actually move.
