Hey everyone! Just joined Bigger Pockets after hearing about it from a few people in my network. Based in Oregon and have been involved in property cleanouts and home services for a while now. Looking to connect with like-minded folks and learn more about the real estate side of things.

Excited to be part of this community.

Welcome Casey! You’re actually coming in with a strong advantage already since property cleanouts and home services put you close to deals most investors never see. That kind of hands-on exposure usually translates really well into spotting value and understanding rehab scope early. A lot of people in your position eventually start looking at out-of-state opportunities too, especially in Midwest markets, where there’s more consistent deal flow and clearer value-add spreads to work with. If you stay close to the acquisition side and keep building relationships, you’ll be in a good spot to transition into investing smoothly over time.
