Hello from New York City

Hello everyone, my name is Kenneth.

I'm a veteran and a grad student who currently lives in Manhattan. I want to use my VA home loan to purchase a multifamily property next year, but before I make any moves I want to be as educated as possible. I'm a complete rookie to the world of real estate, but I'm drawn to the idea that building a portfolio of buy and hold properties is a solid "get rich slow" plan. I'm primarily interested in looking at properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Raleigh/Durham, NC and Seattle, WA. I'll be diving into these forums and asking a lot of questions during the next few months and I'll be looking forward to making some friends in this community.

@Kenneth Leonard if you don't mind coming to Long Island, there is a 1 time a month meeting with all investors interested in Multifamily. If interested let me know I can put you on the list.
