Hello From Silver Spring, MD
Hello, BP community!
My name is Tristan and I am from the Silver Spring, MD area (about 10 miles outside of Washington, D.C.). I currently work in sales for an education tech company and got introduced to real estate within the past year or so at my previous job as a mortgage banker. Shortly after speaking to a Real Estate Investor last summer, I was told to look up BP and absolutely loved the idea of Financial Independence through real estate. From there on, I was convinced that Real Estate was my ticket to live the life that I wanted to live and to eventually escape the "rat race".
After listening to several BP podcasts multiple times and reading recommended books during the Famous Four, I decided to take action earlier this year. I have been visiting Multi-Family homes in the Baltimore, MD area over the past month or two in hopes of finding the perfect house-hack opportunity. I think I may have came across a great find and met two contractors at the property today and will be meeting one more tomorrow! I'm pretty excited and thought today would be the day that I actually add a profile picture and get active on BP since I've been a member since October lol.
