New Investor from the Chicago Suburbs

First post here! I'm an excited new investor looking to network and meet more people in the industry. I've recently purchased a duplex that I'm house hacking in the western suburbs of Chicago. It's only been a few months, but I'm starting to get settled in and (semi) comfortable with the whole process. I'm looking to continue the buy and hold strategy and I'm also interested in learning more about the BRRRR method. Looking forward to networking!

@Diego Cuevas that is awesome! I lived on Burlington street for a while, and am in North Riverside now. We should catch up some time.

There are a few meetups locally you can attend. I actually host one that is in Oak Park at Salerno's Pizza. There is also a great land lord association in Berwyn that has been in existence for around 25 years. I have gotten a lot of mentoring there from more experienced folks.
