Buying land?
I live in Fort Bend County one of the fastest growing areas in America. There is land being sold for 8k an acre. The land is considered to be in the country but it will be 20 min from the new outlet mall they are building. What would you do? Buy an acre and let it sit and wai? Buy an acre and stuv a mobile home on it? Or pass?

Agree with Fred. If you've got 8 grand in cash kicking around that you don't mind tying up for a bit AND you're sure this mall is a definite go, then why not. Of course, I'm not as cautious as a lot of people, so, it all depends on your cash sitch and risk aversion.
