Newbie here in Birmingham, Al. I'm looking to buy my first home and am interested in the Leeds area for my first purchase. The home prices are lower but it seems like an area that will be growing in the upcoming years. Any thoughts from local investors??

Leeds has been experiencing a lot of growth in recent years, and is projected to continue.  The whole "I-20 Corridor" and St. Clair County area is expected to grow significantly in the coming decade.  

Leeds has a diverse mixture of properties, from low-end to high-end.
