Perks for Crew During/After Reno?

Question

Do you give your contractor anything for crew during or after reno? I usually give money for pizza etc. with second draw and upon completion. If I'm coming by in person I will bring donuts and coffee.  Not sure if this matters but figure showing appreciation might generate good will?

As a GC, I would offer to buy lunch for my crew and Subs. But only once and usually when the job was doing very well and nearing successful completion.

If I have a sub working like a week will bring lunch or donuts as appreciation.  I have 30yrs of restaurant mgmt where incentives and treats are a constant part of the culture.  Hard for me not to do it lol.  I have occasionally done a check after closing if it was a windfall and they were solid and on time.

That's a nice touch. I don't think that hurts. Will go a long ways if there is change orders or issues that arises. Always treat your vendors/team well
