Thanks for the info James, I love this site.. I am just looking for a boost in this field that I should have been in two years ago.   The main thing that I liked about his pitch is that they say "they have a pool of homes" that you will have access to and 100% financing.

That sound too good to be true..

@Rick Fonseca there are a TON of so called Experts out there, and more pop up everyday.   Most are not even real estate investing.  I did some seminars years ago when i got started and although it got me motivated to get out and start, i wish i just found this site and saved the money.

Wonder what zillow.com, realtor.com, trulia.com, insert agency.com is called if they have a "pool" of homes...maybe an ocean of homes?

I had some dumb analogy typed up but it's easier to say listen to people with experience or be prepared to learn the hard way(this lesson costs a lot of $$$$$$$)

 I know, for only 25k you can have all these deals that no other investor knows that they exist.   I am glad I found this site, from here not only am I learning a lot of techniques I"m also been able to buy J Scott's book and it is filled with great info. Highly recommend this site to everyone and J Scott's book.

 I few years ago while I was still living in Australia, I attended a few US Property seminars.

The companies where charging $5,000 - $10,000 just for the privilege of getting access to these "hot" turnkey deals.

Now I get those same investors asking for help as they want out.

Sad stuff.

Yesterday I went to the "Free" seminar here in Tampa. They really push for you to buy into the 3 day course, which retails for $4000, plus they are throwing in another $4000 in free merchandise. However, they really want to help you succeed, so they are discounting it, Yesterday only, for $1695 and you can even bring a guest! While doing their altar call, they even announced that there was only 1 seat left.

Luckily, I googled his name and found your site via this thread while we were waiting for the spiel to start.

Nick Vertucci is the real deal. If this site has not heard of him that is scary. Look up his reviews, he is the man!!!

Yes, I took Nick's course for three days.  I spent over 1600 on the bootcamp.  They give you the various types of real estate you can make money off of but they don't really give you the step x steps.  After it was all over they totally abandon you.  You will never get help from anyone there.  Just still with the free courses from BiggerPockets and you should be OK,  alot to learn at this site.

hi lynn. I went to.this seminar on yesterday. Wow. I'd like to speak with you. Is that possible. I have similar concerns 

@Sylvia Vandroff  I currently do no business with Nick.. however I have been to his full blown events and I have known him for 15 years.. he started in the turn key space in the mid west and I funded hundreds and hundreds of his deals for him back in the day.

he then went to Vegas and his students bought there and they killed it.. perfect timing.

then he went to Orlando and they killed it there I funded a few hundred deals there as well for his students.. and those that bought Orlando 3 to 5 years ago when I was doing this for Nick and his team have done VERY well.

Fast forward to today and to my knowledge he does not recommend or sell investment properties anymore.. they are fully focused on how to flip properties.. I have funded a bunch of Flips for Nick personally over the years and a few for his students.

The class is comprehensive and about the best one I have seen... They go into great detail about how much things should cost what to look for and how to rehab a house.. So for someone with no clue there is no doubt you will learn a bunch.. its only up to you whether you think its a value proposition its not cheap for sure.. and Nick is proud of standing by his product.. I like his team as well.

Although there is simply no way for anyone to just teach you ABC and your a rock star I don't care who they are.. be it anyone on BP or any guru.. your success is fully on YOU... and your abilities and your financial standing etc etc....

Real estate as a whole is very difficult and it takes a boat load of capital either you have it or you don't or you have access to it..

I truly appreciate it. I went to the 1st session  and it was great. I thought he was going to be there however the speaker was good.  All of this is new to me so I'm doing my research.  What they said yesterday and if true, it's absolutely incredible. It's reviews like yours that I am seeking. Thank you so much. 

@Sylvia Vandroff  the events that are held in each state .. the owner of the company never shows up.. he can't be in 5 places at once. these are all feeder events . with the goal to have you come to his 5 day main event in Irvine.. that's the event I have gone to.

again its not cheap so make sure its money you can afford..

Is it worth the investment?

This is probably one of the questions that you are asking yourself as you arrive in the corner of the web. You may be considering the costs and benefits of learning real estate and whether this Nick guy is legitimate.

I asked the same questions about a year ago, and now I can confidently answer- yes! My wife and I got a 155% return on our investment yesterday on a flip that took less than 90 days. This program will give you the education and tools that you need to be successful. The staff has patience and integrity; integrity is something extremely important to me, and something I was pleasantly surprised to find throughout our real estate education. You are not investing in a gimmick - you are joining a community. It is not easy, but if you have the desire to grow, the drive to move forward, and the grit to persevere, you have found the key to make it happen.

Is is worth the investment? That depends on you, and what your "it" is.

I attended Nick's free seminar today. They want $1695 to attend the 3 day conference. My question to you (especially aimed at Jay Hinrichs), or anyone who may have an answer to my question....Do they ask for more money during the 3 day training? I have read reviews that have eluded to a $30,000 or more investment during that 3 days. Since the $1695 will essentially be draining our bank account, I do not want to spend it knowing I cannot afford another dollar toward this venture. If you have the answer to this question, please help my family by giving us the correct information. 

They will pitch the  Academy bus tour in Irvine, CA.

There are two different packages: 

One for $40,000 and the other is $30,000. A lot is left to be learned which they reserve for the tour. : (

I signed up for Nick's free seminar.  I think this is the first step when they try to get you on the $1695 3 day seminar.  My seminar is on 3/29/17.   I swear Nick's Grandma answered the phone and took my info. The sweet little ol lady on the other end of the phone said that, "Nick is supposed to be there".

I fully understand that Nick probably trained a bunch of people to do the seminars for him and most likely won't be there.

I'll make a follow up post after the 1st seminar is over.

I went to the Nick Vertucci free "lure you in class" and the 3-day class.  They were great but I'm wondering about the bus tour.  Has anyone had a bad experience on the bus tour?
