Rentredi / Baselane… where to start?

Question

Hi all, looking to rent out my first property, a 1BR condo. Having scalability in mind I'd like to do the heavy lifting now researching and trying different platforms for property mgmt processes... where do you recommend I begin? Are the promoted and built in platforms with BP pro worth it? I've read that Baselane continues to add features such as leases and screens. Would I still want to use Rentredi for listings/marketing, communication, and maintenance requests? Is there another app that does it all? Seems confusing from the tenant side to have to use 2 apps. Thank you very much for any insight

I'm a huge Baselane advocate! It's a service I would pair alongside property management software for your banking/bookkeeping/rent collection. It does not to the listings and some other functionality you mentioned, but I don't know of other great software for banking paired with accounting and one and free-to-tenants rent collection. I use Innago and Baselane together. Unfortunately there is not one software that encompasses everything you need! @Leslie Cloots Congrats Leslie! I'd recommend Magic Door. Pretty cool AI property management platform that's free. The issue is you end up stitching together Baselane, RentRedi, and spreadsheets. Tenants don’t care about features, they just want one place to pay rent and get problems solved. The real unlock isn’t more platforms, it’s less logins.

The real win is making it dead simple: one place where rent, leases, and maintenance live which no one has solved for.

Hey Leslie,

I ended up on RentRedi. I was having a problem and they actually have real people to talk to!! How refreshing is that. He gave me a great demo and helped me through what I thought was clunky; but is now working fine. Being Bigger Pockets, it costs all of $1 to list basic (rentredi and one other). If you want to expand to zillow and two others; it is $1.47 per day.
