Sara Rodriguez
Posted

Investment Info:

Retail hard money loan investment.

Cash invested: $200,000

The original loan was structured as an interest-only, asset-backed facility with multiple collateral positions intended for property improvements and business stabilization.”

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

The location is up and coming.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

The deal found me...referrals.

How did you finance this deal?

I am the actual lender so my money, no big or fancy talk needed. The numbers need to make sense.

How did you add value to the deal?

Land only, not interested in the restaurant

What was the outcome?

We recently foreclosed and now hold title. The property remains operational as a BBQ establishment, generating interim income, while we execute a 12-month hold strategy prior to planned townhome redevelopment.”
