Amazon confirmed that the company purchased around 1,200 acres in Bastrop County, possibly for a Datacenter. Since 2010 the company has invested $84.3 billion in Texas, where it has created 86,000 full- and part-time jobs, along with 65,000 indirect jobs. That includes locations in Pflugerville, Round Rock and San Marcos, among many others.
