Submersible Water Pump for Leaky Basement

Thuc Nguyen
Posted

Hi, how are we doing?

Not so good for me personally. I just had my second water in basement issues this year. We already spent $5k in water-proofing the basement wall and now water is pumping from the basement ground.

3 contractors quote around 10k for water sump pump. I found a cheaper way is to install the Submersible Water Pump (65 bucks!) and delay the big purchase for around 1 year.

My question is: has anyone done this before? Would you recommend it and delay the big fix? Does 1 year sound ridiculous?

Thank you so much, any help is appreciately!
