House hacking in Houston
Hey yall, my wife and I are looking for a duplex to house hack but I have a few questions and wanted to see if anyone could help me out before we dive into it.
1: If you know of any agents with experience in small multifamily/ house hacking in the Houston area that would be willing to help us through the process please shoot them my way!
2: What are some key things from those of you who have experience house hacking that we should look for/ look out for?
3: How have you found success finding reliable tenants and how do you go about tenant screening, leases, deposits, maintenance requests, etc...?
4: Would you recommend self managing or hiring a property manager even while we’re living in one of the units?
