Jeremiah Cameron
Posted

Hey I just recently bought my first house hack SFH 3B 2B in San Antonio and will rent out the extra bedrooms as mid term rentals but I'm recently self employed so I'm trying to figure out my next step steps to scale ive heard to house hacking 5 or so times then just start buying rentals and doing BRRRR any one thoughts on best next steps?

@Jeremiah Cameron I'd stabilize this first house hack for a few months and get your mid-term room rentals consistently cash flowing, while you clean up your self-employed income on paper so you can qualify again. Then I'd recommend either doing another house hack for the best financing, or if qualifying is tight, buying a DSCR rental that's supported by the property's income.
