What are the pros and cons of renting in DC I know it's not a landlord friendly state my wife is most likely planning to take a job that pays 112,000 a year and we want to use the VA loan to invest there but any advice and things to avoid would be appreciated

house hack is the absolute best way to do @Russell Brazil is a top agent there maybe ping him. Not sure if he works with VA buyers but I suspect someone on his team will.
