Finally Left the Rat Race
Hey BP! Thanks partly to BP podcast and this great community I was finally able to leave the rat race and quit my factory job. I'm up to 37 doors, mostly single family houses, and I was able to pull out some equity recently and purchase a flooring store in Indianapolis, IN. Thank you everyone! Feel free to connect with me anytime.
Amazing, Philip! What a great accomplishment, happy you are on to new endeavors. Good to know someone in the flooring business who has like-minded goals! I currently am investing in Texas but have been thinking about looking out of state and I hear good things about Indianapolis. I really enjoyed my Spring when I interned downtown in 2019 and it's pretty cool to see that it's a good place to invest!
If you are ever interested in looking into Texas I'd be happy to help you out... I'm sure you've heard it's a great place to be, LOL!

Congratulations, Philip! Always great to see other people succeed.
Welcome to the full time/entrepreneurial side of the house! You won't look back!

Wow, congratulations!!
Nice job! 37 single family homes ... that is quite an accomplishment (especially considering you look pretty young in your profile picture). Best wishes on your next flooring store venture.
Well done!!
You are now living the dream, 37 homes in impressive as well. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for you to acquire that many doors? Any specific strategies that you wish you knew earlier?
So inspirational. As someone who is 19 years old. What are some lessons can you advice to save time and money?
Congratulations! This is such a motivation to see!
During your venture, what lessons did you learn along the way?

@Philip Nelson Congratulations Philip! I’m happy to say I’ve got 20 doors and today is the last day for me at my second job so I can focus more time on my real estate business. Only 4 hours left till I get my Saturday and Sunday back from the 16 hour shifts I was working and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
I’m so happy for you! You’ve met my goal and I can’t wait to get there. I’ve got 3 more years in my master plan of getting enough units to quit my full time W-2! You’ve inspired me to work harder and it couldn’t have come on a better day to see your post than on the day that I step away from a position I’ve held for 14 years! Thanks for the inspiration and once again CONGRATULATIONS!
Great story! Thanks for sharing Phillip! I will get in contact with you about your flooring store. Always looking for great products for my investors!
