Are You Tracking Conversations or Just Leads?

Posted

Small shift that helped us recently: tracking conversations instead of just leads. Sounds simple, but it changed how we handled follow-ups completely.

Anyone else tracking this differently?

Tracking conversations changes what 'follow-up' even means. A lead with no conversation is just a record. A lead with three conversations is a relationship with context, and the next call should reference the last one. Most CRMs are built around the lead row, not the thread, which is why this feels like a shift.
