Long-term or Short-term

Jeanette Land

I've seen a lot of positive comments about Columbus, Ohio for investing in real estate. Is it best to rent as a long-term or short term?

Hi @Jeanette Land Strong job growth, universities, healthcare, and steady population demand support consistent year-round occupancy, while short-term rentals tend to face tighter regulations and more seasonality. Unless you're in a prime area near hospitals or OSU with clear STR demand, long-term buy-and-hold is usually the safer, more predictable play.
