1031 property Re-title

Tom Child
Posted

In August 2021 e1031xchange was the qualified intermediary for my 1031 exchange. Now after more than 3 years I would like to re-title or transfer the ownership from original LLC to another entity. The key requirement for this transfer is to not trigger a capital gain tax therefore no consideration will change hands. I am hoping someone with experience will know the process and IRS forms needed. Also what type of entity can or should I use?

Note my accountant was not experienced in this so I am doing the research.
