After a lot of research, I have all my rental investment properties under one S-Corporation. I will never convert any of my rental properties into a personal one - which is when I thought holding it under an S-Corporation will create a tax impact.
Can any accountant in the forum give some feedback on my holding rental properties under S-Corporation?
@Usha Ramaswamy Generally, it's not advised. Only in certain rare circumstances is holding rentals in a corporation (C or S) a good idea. I'm curious as to which research led you to believe otherwise.
@Usha Ramaswamy I agree with @Nicholas Aiola . I am not a CPA, but I have had many in-depth conversations with him about the best strategy to hold real estate in. He has always told me to not hold them in an S-Corp.
If you have any other research against that, I would like to see it as well to bring back up with my CPA.
