Has anyone ever successfully used a 1031 exchange to move out of a townhome (or SFH) and into a storage facility?

@Matt Wilcox no problem at all as long as the property you are selling is investment.  We're actually doing several at one time for a client - several SFRs into several self storage facilities.  PM me and I'll put the two of you in touch.
