Buying rental property in Ohio

I am buying a rental property in Ohio, I live in California. Should I file my LLC in California or Ohio?

I'm not an attorney. But I personally live in California and invest in Indiana. I filed my LLC through California per the advice from my CPA. I work with OOS borrowers that invest in IL and OH but live in CA - they all have their LLCs filed through CA as well. Hopefully a CPA or attorney chimes in to help! Best of luck!
