Outsourcing Quickbooks Overseas

I'm finally making the switch from Quicken Rental Manager to Quickbooks. What I'm struggle with is how much historical information I really want to spend the time entering myself. I'm interested in talking with others who have looked into outsourcing some of their book keeping tasks overseas. I could see the potential of saving significant dollars in doing so but could also see risks associated with this approach. I would love to hear from others who have either done this or looked into it.

Maybe you could find some students to do the data entry for you, preferably students of accounting. No telling what might happen if you outsource private information overseas. Probably not a good idea. Maybe others could chime in on what they do. Good luck.
