I always use my local attorney here in NJ to form the NJ LLC. I have to make sure its set up right. Recommend you find an attorney especially if this is your first one.

I wouldn't recommend starting your LLC using forms that you may find online. While those forms are likely to get you past whatever Corporation Board you may have in your state, those forms may not adequately protect you in the event of a lawsuit, or educate you on how best to avoid law suits through best practices. I would recommend reaching out to a local  business attorney for a consultation, preferably a free one.

@Drew Slew Hey Drew! Happy to discuss if you want to PM me, I'm a big advocate for forming NJ LLCs. If you want to check some of my past posts, I've commented on this point many many times, and I think having it done right the first time is so important. Depending on whether you intend to invest alone, JV, have investors, regular partners, etc., the depth and content of your agreements change. The actual formation of the entity is pretty simple. It's what comes after that is a little more complicated and you should definitely have an attorney help out, at least the first time.
