The beginning to get in real estate ?

I’ve been interested to learn more about real estate. Does anyone have any suggestion or anything a newbie should read?

I suggest starting with the BP books.

In special the beginner's guide (FREE)

there you will find a bit of everything  and discover the strategy you like the best.

Whichever books you choose, pick something that has been in print at least 20 years.  Anything written sooner than that hasn't been tested against a market downturn.  You want strategies that have been tested in both hot and cold markets.

Many books are simply rehashing old strategies at a high level, and unfortunately they don't give you enough information to take any actionable steps.  I recommend finding one or two areas of REI you are interested in and find out who has been the expert in that strategy for several decades and learn from them.  For example, if you plan to be a buy and hold land lord, try Leigh Robinson's book "Land lording", which has been the gold standard for 30+ years.  Get the most recent printing.  Even though Mr. Robinson passed away awhile back, his advice is timeless and filled with wisdom gains over many years of experience in a variety of market conditions.
