how much did you guys pay for your LLC?

I know it varies state to state but I been looking to zen business and others that I can pay to make my LLC or just do it myself and save money?

Hard to say, but attorneys should be able to form single-member LLCs for around $750 to $1500.

There's no estimate one could give for multi-member LLCs. You could spend in the low thousands but it could get into the five-figure range depending on how convoluted the process is.

You can try to form single-member LLCs on your own or use a service like Legal Zoom. But if you haven't dealt with single-member LLCs, it may make sense to work with an attorney to understand the process and ask questions.

In my opinion, it's legal suicide to form a multi-member LLC on your own.

I have had a couple of different experiences... When I started I did it on my own, saved money but it was a pain & I screwed up the articles of organization.  Second time I used Legalnature.com, made it a ton easier and everything got done correctly - cost me $700.  My last corp I set up with a CPA, cost me a couple of grand but I expect the set up to give me some significant tax benefits over the long run.  Hope this helps...
