Oregon Business Climate

Hi All,
I'm looking for some general information about investing in RE while residing in Oregon. I've got family in Oregon and have been entertaining the idea of moving somewhere between Roseburg and Salem.

Here are a few questions I've got floating around in my head:
1) How does Oregon treat out of state income since they do not have an income tax?
2) What is your experience with setting up a business inside Oregon? Specifically LLC &/or S-Corp.
3) Is Oregon landlord friendly?
4) Can you provide some general information and "feelings" about operating your business in Oregon and investing in Oregon.

I'm trying to paint with a broad brush because I've just started thinking about this move more seriously this year.

Thanks all and look forward to connecting with everyone.
-Sean

@Sofia Sharkey Alot has changed in the last 6 years. Salem to Eugene would have been a great place to invest 6 years ago since property prices have nearly doubled since then. Right now we are seeing a leveling off that we haven't seen in the last 4 years. Where we are headed next is anyone's guess but I'm not seeing a crash....possibly a slight correction.
