Best way to get started as a young adult

Hi! I am a 19 year old college athlete who recently has gained interest into the real estate business. I am wondering what is the best way to get started and maybe hear a couple tips from experienced people. Should I go for certain degree? Should I save up money, learn everything I can about real estate and then be ready to invest once I graduate?

I have a very clear answer for you: house hacking! Buy a 2 or 4 family and move in. It is a low risk and low down way of getting started, an excellent way to learn the process from analysing deals to leasing out and working with contractors, you learn all the basics. And you elminiate the biggest living expense. If you live at home, you may find yourself airbnb-ing your unit.
